Hello, I'm Austin Brooks and I am currently serving as the Executive Director for Dallas United Crew (DUC). As the first person to hold this position within the organization, my main role is to lead and guide DUC towards achieving our key initiatives and executing our strategic vision.
Before joining DUC, my family and I moved to Dallas from California where I served as the Head Coach and Program Director at UC Irvine. With over a decade of experience in rowing and coaching, I am excited to bring my expertise to DUC and help further develop our program.
As an avid rower myself, I have a deep passion for the sport and its ability to bring communities together. I am proud to be an alumni of the University of Washington, where I also competed as a collegiate rower.
One of my main goals as Executive Director is to continue fostering a strong sense of community within DUC and provide opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds to experience the benefits of rowing. I believe that through teamwork, determination, and hard work, DUC can achieve great success both on and off the water.
I look forward to working alongside our dedicated coaches, staff, and board members to make DUC a leader in youth rowing in Dallas and beyond. Thank you for your support as we strive towards excellence together!
