Para-rowing Coordinator, Atlanta Rowing Club, Head of the Hooch Regatta. Jason is a para-rower and rowing coach. He learned to row at the DC Strokes rowing club in 2007. From 2008-2010, he served as club president. During his tenure, DC Stokes added para-rowing to the 2009 Stonewall Regatta. Rowing awards include: 2009 World Out Games in Copenhagen, Denmark (men's 8+ silver); 2010, 2011, and 2012 Head of the Charles (Gold PR3 4+); 2011 Canadian Henley (2nd place). In January of 2012, he relocated to the Oklahoma City National High-Performance Center and was a member of the US National Paralympic Team in 2012 as an alternate in the PR3 4+ event. He retired from high-performance rowing in 2013. In the Fall of 2015, relocation to Atlanta, GA led him to the Atlanta Rowing Club. He was appointed coordinator in 2015. Under his direction, ARC has grown its outreach programs to include senior rowers, para rowers, disabled veterans (Freedom Rows), and breast cancer survivors (RowStrong). Jason resides in Woodstock, GA with his partner of eight years, Brian Osborne.
