About me
Marqus Brown is the head coach of Waco
Rowing Center. He moved to Waco last summer
for the sole purpose of getting more people
rowing on the Brazos.
He started his rowing journey during the
summer of 2008 at a free two-week camp in
Philadelphia. His high school did not have a
rowing team so during his senior year he joined
a club team and rowed the single sculls as the
sole representative of his school. He was
recruited to La Salle University and made the
top varsity boat every year. His senior year he
became a co-captain and later an assistant
coach after graduating.
